FC Las Vegas is the only soccer program in Nevada to employ a Certified / Licensed Athletic Trainer. Athletic training is practiced by athletic trainers, health care professionals who collaborate with physicians to optimize activity and participation of patients and clients. Athletic training encompasses the prevention, diagnosis, and intervention of emergency, acute, and chronic medical conditions involving impairment, functional limitations, and disabilities. Tedd Girouard is the Certified Athletic Trainer for FC Las Vegas, Tedd has been Certified since 1995, and has been working with soccer teams since 1996. He has extensive experience having worked with Regional ODP teams for 11 years, including many National Team Trials, National Championships, and International Tours. Tedd also has experience teaching in UNLV's Sports Injury Management Program from 1996 - 2008. For more on Tedd please view his biography.

Tedd will be available to evaluate and treat injuries Monday - Thursday after training is completed, he will also be available during training to take care of Emergency Soccer Injuries and pre participation taping and bracing.

Evaluation / Taping / Treatment Schedule

For league games, and tournaments Tedd will make many league games and tournaments throughout the year, if an athlete sustains an injury during a time that Tedd is not there please feel free to call or have the coach call him at 217-5508 so he can give you advise as to best treat the injury.
